The SD38 Youth Train in Trades Baking & Pastry Arts program is offered through a partnership with Vancouver Community College (VCC) and provides students an opportunity to receive the first of three levels needed to acquire Red Seal certification in this trade.  In this creative and demanding program, students learn about the preparation of general baking (pies, cookies) with a specialization in patisserie (cakes & pastries), breads and doughs.  This program starts in August between grades 11 and 12 (offered only in first semester).
