Youth TRAIN in Trades - Level 1/Foundation Programs

HOW TO APPLY

Applications for our Youth TRAIN in Trades Level 1/Foundation programs for the 2024-2025 are due by either of the dates found on the front page of the application.  Download and complete the Youth TRAIN Application pdf, then follow the "how to submit" instructions found within the application.

Youth TRAIN in Trades programs provide students the opportunity to attain Level 1 / Foundation technical training skills. Students start post-secondary trades program work while still in high school, earning both high school and college credits during the program, as well as SkilledTradesBC credentialing.  Tuition for the first level of these programs is paid by Richmond SD38.  This is typically a savings of $2500-$5000!  Students can also avoid wait lists for some of our post-secondary partnership programs.  All students are registered as apprentices with SkilledTradesBC.

Explore the links below to find out more about each of the Youth TRAIN in Trades programs offered through the SD38 Career Programs Office.  You may also view our CAREER PROGRAMS BROCHURE for a synopsis of our program offerings.
