Health Care/ Dual Credit Programs and Courses

HOW TO APPLY

TUITION IS COVERED by SD38 RICHMOND! 

Dual Credit Program Application is due by March 10, 2026 and is found here.  Students interested in these programs for the 2026-2027 applications are now available through this link as well as in your schools on your Career Programs slat board (by/in school counselling offices)!

For students interested in a career as a:Health Care/ Dual Credit - HC/DC

  • Nurse or Psychiatric Nurse
  • Biomedical Scientist or Biotechnologist
  • Public Health Officer or Medical Manager
  • Medical Lab Assistant (MLA)
  • Health Care Assistant (HCA)
  • Other careers in Health Care or Health/Medical Sciences

These dual-credit programs provide students the opportunity to attain training and post-secondary credits in an area of interest while still in high school. Students start these post-secondary programs or courses while still in high school, earning both high school and college credits during the program.  Tuition for these offerings is paid by Richmond SD38.
