2. ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS for the following dual credit courses/programs (TUITION PAID for by SD38):

  • KPU STRIVE course (IDEA 1100) (Applications for STRIVE 2026-2027 will be available soon.)

     

  • Youth Train in Trades Programs (Applications coming soon!) (due Feb 2rd and March 2rd, 2027).  Offering over ten trade options including:
    • Professional Cook
    • Piping (Plumber, Sprinkler fitter, or Steamfitter)
    • Construction Electrician
    • Welding
    • Carpentry
    • Auto Collision & Refinishing
    • Auto Service Technician
    • Aircraft Maintenance Engineer + many more!

       

  • Academic Dual Credit Application (coming soon!) (due March 9th, 2027).  This application is for:
    • Business Program (NEW!) with Melville School of Business - KPU
    • Intro to Early Childhood Education - Langara
    • Intro to Health Science Course (HSCI 1115) Course - KPU
    • Biomedical & Health Science Program - KPU

       

2. AVAILABLE SOON...our 2026-27 Career Programs brochure containing all of the dual credit (and more) programs we offer.  This includes both trades training programs and dual credit academic courses/programs.  (These will soon be in your schools on the Career Programs slat board in/near counselling.)

3. TUESDAY DUE-DAYS!  Check out the list of due dates for our various courses and programs (our "TUESDAY DUE-DAYS").  Applications are not yet out for some, so please check back to our website as the school year progresses.  If you have any questions about any Career Programs Office offerings, please feel free to contact us: careerprograms@sd38.bc.ca or phone: (604) 668-6000 ex.3766.  

4. Q&A Sessions will be the 1st Wednesday of the month - November to March.  These are drop-in sessions (online).  Drop in any time between 3-4pm. The first will be Wednesday, November 4th on TEAMS.
